Description
StudioBinder is looking for a Blog Content Coordinator to join our Content & Editorial team.
StudioBinder builds production management software used by filmmakers, agencies, brands, and creative teams to plan and collaborate on productions. Alongside our platform, we run one of the largest educational resources in the production industry. Our blog reaches 1M+ readers each month, and our YouTube channel has over 2M+ subscribers.
If you enjoy organizing content, maintaining quality standards, and helping great articles get published smoothly, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our Careers page to learn about our work culture, benefits, and the typical work day.
What You’ll Do
As part of the editorial team, you’ll help ensure that StudioBinder’s articles are polished, properly formatted, and published on schedule.
Your work will include preparing blog posts for publication, reviewing articles for formatting and quality standards, and updating content in WordPress. You’ll help maintain the editorial calendar, coordinate with writers and editors, and ensure that each piece includes the right images, embeds, and assets to improve the overall reader experience.
Much of the role focuses on maintaining consistency and quality across our growing library of articles.
A Typical Day
A typical day might begin by opening an article draft and preparing it for publication. You bring the content into WordPress. Using Thrive Architect's Page Builder, you structure the post using pre-built templates, and paste the writer's content from a Google Doc. You arrange sections so the layout feels clean, readable, and consistent.
From there, you refine the details — adding links, adjusting formatting, and making sure everything reads well on the page. You may also create or adapt visual assets, such as header images or infographics, using existing templates or simple design tools to support the content.
Before publishing, you review the article across desktop, tablet, and mobile to ensure everything looks right. Once finalized, you update the release calendar in Airtable, move on to the next piece.
Some days are focused on preparing new articles, others on refining and updating existing ones. The goal is always the same: publish clean, well-structured content that’s easy to read and visually consistent.
What We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have 1–2+ years of experience in proofreading, editorial support, or web publishing
- Have strong attention to detail and care about presentation
- Are comfortable working in WordPress
- Have experience with page builders like Elementor or Thrive Architect
- Are highly organized and enjoy managing checklists or editorial schedules
- Have strong written communication and proofreading skills
- Collaborate well with writers, editors, and content teams
- Have an interest in filmmaking, storytelling, or creative media
An eye for clean design, layout, and formatting is a strong plus.
