If you're going to write a script, you shouldn't use a simple word processor. Instead, use dedicated screenwriting software like StudioBinder that can not only handle the formatting automatically, it can be used to build all your other pre-production work.
Yes, it is possible to write a script using ChatGPT but there are a couple of considerations to make before you do. One, what you'll get from ChatGPT is recycled bits from the screenplays it was trained on, so there's an originality problem. Second, the formatting isn't correct so you're going to have to copy/paste the script out of ChatGPT into a screenwriting program which requires a lot of busywork.

Yes, you can find a Google Docs screenplay template but it's more of a guide that shows you what the equivalent of industry-standard formatting would be in a Google Doc. As you write, you'll be responsible for manually formatting everything yourself.
How to write a screenplay in StudioBinder
Open StudioBinder on your browser.
Click the Screenwriting tab on the project homepage.
Press the "New Screenplay" button and give it a title.
Open the Script Outline to organize your notes and plan out the structure.
Start writing your initial draft. Create a revision draft for each subsequent rewrite.
Press the "Sync to Project" button so that the script will integrate with other StudioBinder features.
When you're done writing and ready to start pre-production, click the "lock script" button.
Share your script with view-only links, invite collaborators or team members to get feedback.
