1. My Bloody Valentine (1981)
After getting somewhat lost in the massive swell of slasher films of the late 70s and 1980s, My Bloody Valentine still retains a small cult following. The film is far from a masterpiece, but fans of the genre will find a lot to like. My Bloody Valentine was remade in 2009, complete with gimmicky 3D, but the original 1981 film is a good watch for slasher-film fans looking for an entry they might not have seen before.
